Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At EasyTools.cc ("we", "us"), we take your privacy seriously. As a Client-side Computing platform, we operate differently from traditional server-based tools. Here is how we protect your data.

1. Core Principle: Data Stays Local

We utilize WebAssembly and JavaScript to process data entirely within your browser.

  • File Processing: When you use tools like PDF converters or image compressors, your files are processed in your device's memory and are NEVER uploaded to our servers.
  • Data Entry: Information you input (e.g., trading PnL data, map markers) is stored strictly on your local device via LocalStorage or IndexedDB.
  • Zero Server Logs: We generally do not have access to, nor do we store, your user-generated content.

2. Information Collection

We only collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) to improve our service:

  • Access Logs: Timestamps, browser type, and language preferences (e.g., en-US).
  • Error Reporting: Anonymous crash reports may be sent to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

  • Functional Storage: We use LocalStorage to save your preferences (e.g., Dark Mode, last used exchange rates). You have full control over this data and can delete it by clearing your browser cache.
  • Third-Party Cookies: We integrate Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These services may set cookies to analyze traffic or serve relevant advertisements.

4. Advertising & Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links or ads provided by third parties (e.g., Google AdSense). Once you leave our site, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their respective privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in technology (e.g., 2026 Web Standards) or legal requirements. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.

If you have any questions, please contact us via the channels listed in the footer.
